AAB’s ‘Improving Global and Local IPM’ meeting now open for Abstract submission

The AAB Biocontrol and IPM specialist group are delighted to announce the Call for Abstracts for the upcoming hybrid event on November 17-18th 2021. This will take place both online and live at the Olde Barn Hotel in Grantham, UK.

The title of the event is ‘Improving Global and Local IPM’.

This year’s event will feature these sessions:
A) IPM Research to Application – Bridging the gap
B) New Research – Toward new solutions
C) Big Pests – Big challenges
D) Developing Technology – New opportunities

Please submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. Opportunities for exchanging ideas between both in-person and virtual delegates will be maximised while maintaining safe social distancing. The majority of the sessions will be comprised of talks selected from submitted abstracts. We will host a live poster session and provide opportunities for virtual poster presenters to introduce their research with short talks. Accepted abstractswill be published in a conference book and will be available to all delegates. This year there is also an option to submit papers from presentations to a (fully peer-reviewed) dedicated special issue of Annals of Applied Biology.

Th Abstract Submission Deadline is August 31st 2021.
